I have always been a photographer and a feature writer/photojournalist. I shoot videos and stills for profit and non-profit entities. I supply website photos - and build sites. I produce action shots with Canon and Go Pro equipment. My iphone has become a go-to for many environments, especially the outdoors from a kayak. Today, I also explore soundscapes - a fascinating addition to pictures!
An author of articles since the 1980's, I continue to write and shoot photos whether walking my cat and dog - they both like the woods and the river - or my travels. A recent trip to Nepal has opened my eyes, ears and state of mind to the music of celebration in the streets. I’ve written lots and lots about horses in philanthropy, equine medical issues, industry sports figures, equine art, rare breeds and more. I continue to shoot photos for my horse industry articles on art and medical issues. I write position papers as an equine appraiser - I know a lot about ownership of horses and how to enter or exit that love. Recently, I’ve added photo work about conserving land. Especially, I write now about my travels to other parts of the world where people really do live other lives.
